Bird Paintings by Jennetta
On numerous times, God has used birds to bring comfort,
assurance of his presence and healing into my life. Time
and again, I am drawn to attempts to capture the fragility,
magnificent design and unique characteristics of our feathered
friends. I hope that you find among the paintings the truth
and echo of Luke 12:6,7: "Are not five sparrows sold
for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before
God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows."
All of my paintings are done in acrylic on canvas after
I have photographed the subject. The paintings are sprayed
with a protective varnish to discourage smudging during
handling. The two paintings of herons are extended to the
sides in order to allow the owner to display with or without
a frame. Postage and handling for each painting is $14 which
should be added to the price listed below each painting.
