About the Photographer
Ray and Linda Hayes have many years of experience in photography
in Alabama and northwest Florida. They are based in Lillian,
Alabama just outside Pensacola, Florida convenient to many
Gulf Coast locations. For many years, they lived in Birmingham
(photo below) where Ray split his time between photography
and computer work in the natural gas industry. He enjoys nature
photography, especially astrophotography, and is also an instructor
at Virginia College at Pensacola. For several years, Ray was
on staff at the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry.
Linda is an incredible artist and photographer. Her art may
be seen on this site. Linda specializes in painting birds
of the coastal area as well as landscapes and portraits.
The galleries on this site only hint at the variety of their interests.
